What is this? Oil Ring?

    My new rings don't have this. Should I keep them? I'm using the factory pistons.

    Use all the rings. Don’t save use the old stuff . Oil rings will look different.

    Those were part of the oil ring assembly. That then the two thin rings and the zig zag ring. The two thin and the zig zag rings go over the one in the pic.

    Tensioner wave ring ? Pushes the oil ring against cylinder wall

    No. I don’t think so. The new rings should be a different design and should not use them.
