Do you have a compressor and a spray gun?
Semi-gloss black in an epoxy or urethane is a durable finish.

i`m just looking to see what brand people are using or used and hows it holding up?

i`m using eastwoods 2k chassis black with ceramic (semi) on my fame but i shot etching primer on the car and eastwood says to put that paint over 2k epoxy.
and i know i can sand the etch primer off but i dont want to sand any more then i have to,soooo i`m looking at all my opptions before i jump in to all that sanding.
i hit the car with etching primer because i had it and i needed to cover the car with somthing so i can get the welding done.
the rest of the body i will be sanding it off (etching primer) after the metal work is done.
but for the fire wall and under side i`m thinking of going down a different road .

I have had great luck with the POR Engine Chassis.

You should be able to just scuff the self etching primer with scotchbrite and lay some epoxy primer over it. Epoxy is generally a good sealer. Read the product info sheets to be sure it's compatible.
What brand of etch primer is it?

I am a big fan of the zero-rust paint. You can buy it in rattle can or quart, it is direct to metal paint and claims to be as corrosion resistant as por15 but much less a pain to use. I use the black for all under car and suspension parts and it goes on as a semi dull black finish. Not as shiny as a semi gloss but I really like the look of it.
I am also using the white on the interior floors to lighten up inside to make it easier to work in there and see things.

As to durability I can't say because my car is in pieces inside but it seems to be a good paint to me. Time will tell of course.

Korrie, I do not think the GM recon paint is very durable. It is lacquer based. Not good for the bottom of a car for long term.
