I'm bored, my arm hurts like hell, and these are always kinda fun,..

    462cid
    10.1 ish comp
    Ported stage 2 SE's ~ 330ish cfm
    242/250 536/536 3° advanced for a 105.5 centerline
    Stock iron well ported intake
    "0243" qjet ie a 70 4speed carb same as a stage 1 carb

    I think it makes 525hp

    330 cfm at what lift?
The choke point ,and the master of how much power you can make and how wide your torque band is, will be that stock reworked Intake .

To make the most of what you have you want the choke point ( minimum port area) of the complete Intake system to be one stroke length back into the Intake tract from the rear of the Intake valve and following the center line of the port, and from there on back to the Plenum that port area should expand , not pinch down like it does in stock Intakes.

I am sorry to say but to me running heads ported to this level but being fed by a reworked stock Intake is a waste of money to a good degree!
If I had to guess with out flow testing your reworked intake then I will say that with your intake valve lift you would be doing good to get 270 cfm of that 330 cfm into each cylinder and that could make you 69 hp per cylinder in race tune form, but like I said I would get that Intake Manifold flow tested if you really want to nail down some solid HP numbers!

With a cam of that size, I bet it makes at least 550. The intake will be the limiting factor. 600 with an SP1 or SPX.

I am betting it's making more than you originally suggested at 525 hence why I said 539. The reason being why I said that cuz I'm looking at the stage 2 Engine with the over the parts available from Buick. Article stating 540 horsepower. And I think that's low in my humble opinion.

Why you may have lower compression by two and a half point or so, as Larry said the intake is the factor. given the posts on this board the B4B versus the stock intake that wasn't that much of a difference between the two. And while there was a Holley available you're using a Quadrajet and I don't think there's going to be that much of a difference between the two any of this were talking about air flow and tunability between the two.

Oh yea the intake will definitely stifle things up a bit, it's what will be going in my GSX

If your car is about 4000 lb race ready then you will only need 480 hp at the flywheel to hit the traps at 115 mph , so having some extra since you will not likely even get 480 to the ground at the green light is a plus by mid track!

More like 480 HP at the rear wheels in a full weight GS.
