Is that to say we should stop eating preservatives or we can safely add Imron to our cereal in the morning?

If you eat almonds or apple seeds you're already getting a little cyanide.

I heard cyanide was toxic. Is that overhyped? or are we just addicted to painting to the point where we deny and rationalize its dangers. Like people do with smoking, drinking, drugs, risky sex, eternity etc etc.

Also, I heard there are som non iso urethane clears now? any word on that? I wonder if there is a non iso hardner for enamel.

Yes, cyanide is a poison. Ever hear of Zyklon B?

That being said, if you use the right personal protection equipment, like a good quality respirator, you'll be fine.

If your contemplating painting your Buick yourself, DONT, along with having the proper protective equipment for yourself, you will also need a spraybooth to remove/trap all the overspray.
Spraying even a fender, your garage will fill up with overspray/fumes, let alone a whole car:shock:

zyklon B? isnt that the stuff they used to kill lice on people in the refugee camps? didn know it was cyanide though.

Some guys were talking about a whole fresh body haz mat suit and fresh air supply to spray iso's I miss the days of lacquer in the driveway.

Don't risk your health taking shortcuts on safety gear. The health hazards associated with modern paints and other auto body materials are well documented.

Risky sex? Is that like, not making sure she is a she from the get go?

I hadnt thought of that. My guydar is bulletproof though so no worries here. The song LOLA comes to mind. HA!

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

I dated a woman named Lola. Smokin' hot, but I still checked, often, to make certain she was still female.
