I want to paint my 75 lesabre convertible artic white but on the way to work i saw a 2019 Chrysler 300 that was bright white..I looked it up and thats the name of the paint. But whats whiter? I don't want a pearl or tri coat paint. Going single stage and wondering which one to choose now
There is also the one night white which is also very close to refrigerator white. Its called one night white because it will hide a whole lot of shoddy bodywork that can be done in one night and still have enough time to spray the same night.
That code 11 GM is the closest to refridge white you can get. Those Chrysler whites have a burgundy tint in them . Makes that color pop that way. It’s to white. Not a good look. my .2 cents
My 2016 Challenger was as bright a white as I have ever seen. No pearl or metallic. No burgundy hue either.
Think it was the Chrysler Bright white. So it down to chevy summit white or Chrysler bright white.. Did u ever have it next to a summit white camaro to see the difference?
I did not. But I will say whenever I try to wash it or wax it in the sunshine I was snowblind for a while afterwards
I used a single stage GM #10 arctic white on my skylark which I think at the time was listed as an Olds color, and you can hardly look at it in the sun.
You can always get a paint chart and look at them outside to see which one you like best. Then you will be able to tell if you see red or blue or yellow within the color. I am sure the primer will sway the color some too. The brightest white in paper will have a slight blue look to it when compared to other sheets. I am a printing pressman, that is what I see. Snow white always blinds me in the winter! is that a color?
I dont think im going do white anymore..Because the seats are white and the interior dash and door panels are light blue i dont think white will set it off so now im thinking baby blue or similar to the color it already is. I made a new post. Unless im over thinking but when it comes to the paint it always takes me few months to finally decide
