I'm in the market for something old to play with, though I've noticed not much posted on Craig's list here on Long Island NY. Are there any classic car listing sites I should check out?

    For me, outside of Craigslist.....

    I use hemmings.com, Ebay, or classiccars.com.

Otherwise find forums of manufacturers and or models of car your looking for and see who has something for sale posted on the forum.

Do a search on Facebook marketplace -- it will list by distance. Quite a few

Depends on what it is. I like it all from 30s to square body Chevy trucks. I'd like something along the lines of the 65 electra 4 door (I have 3 kids) I used to have. But am open, got some money coming in from a motorcycle accident and need to get back into the car/bike hobby but on the car side.

Yeah I've met him a few times years back. I know he knows where to find cars.

Just drive around, too, especially in rural areas. I still find a ton of cars that aren't listed for sale online sitting on the side of the road with old school orange/black/white signs in the windows. Every city usually has a lot or two that are where the "classics" are for sale, too.
