Everyone has slightly different taste. It’s what makes the hobby interesting.
On my first LS swap I tried to add the Buick flavor. BB83AABF-41E4-4480-9E0A-78D40E38AE42.jpeg

I loved the LS1 in my 2004 GTO. Good gas mileage, great performance, zero problems. Plus, the 2004's still had a throttle cable, no drive-by-wire crap!

Add a turbo or SC and you have gobs of reliable power with good fuel mileage.

I enjoy an LS (7) in one of my GSs (Lund) but not my Buick GS

I think its cool, cause the LS in stock form is an ugly sumbitch with those coils atop the valve cover.
I wish someone made finned aluminum valve covers for the SBB like they had for the SBC back in the day.

And that is where I would put the motor and NOT in a Buick.

I wonder if were seeing today what happened way back when the SBC came out and it was the "go to" engine:D

Add a turbocharged and any LS swap is fun.... My neighbor just did a turbo 6.0 LS in this Camaro and it runs high 7s in the quarter on small tires and leafs. And his Chevelle is 1200 HP with great street manners, turbo LS as well.

and you can do this too with the right tools and know how it's a piece of cake.
