Well......i'm finally back on the car and getting ready to put the engine/trans/overdrive in it and finish the beast.:grin: I took off all the engine parts and will give the engine a fresh coat of paint since this one is 8 YEARS OLD !:eek2: :eek2: :eek2: Hope it still runs......... I did'nt realize how weak the original coat of paint had become....... I popped the edelbrock B4B and distributor.......masked everything off and shot it with a NOS vinatge NAPA M-S Buick Red engine enamel spray bomb. B4B will get freshened up and re-installed. It's looking good now and getting very close to taking it's place in ***** p Peace WildBill

Put it all back together........ Then rotated the motor thru a slow 360 spin to coat the inside of the motor with Brad Penn oil and make everything spin smooth on initial fire up..... Here's the ATI TreeMaster torque converter that i am running. Mounted it up and put a rule across the face of the transmission case to measure in to a fully seated torque conv. mounting tab and get a measurement......comes in at 1 1/8" Powertrain will be installed any day now.
