Replaced my aging laptop over the Holidays. Coming from XP & Office 2003 into 8 & Office 2010.
Gradually getting it sorted out, some likes, some dislikes.
Having an issue on this board while not on another board(s).
Checkout "New Posts " & view a thread.
Rt. click to menu & then Lt. click on Back.
Takes me to the first post in the thread but will not get me back to "New Posts".

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Cheers,

    Hi David,
I'm using a new Samsung Notebook Series 3.
    I'll keep playing with it.

Had to replace my aging cellphone last Fall. Old Sanyo #### flip-phone. Discontinued years ago. Went with a Blackberry. Learning curve involved.

I imagine it behaves differently on a tablet than a PC, perhaps.

I have it on my new laptop, I"m getting used to it, but still dont like it.

if my laptop was toughscreen, i'd probably be all for it...but its not

Have installed a 'start' button in W8... without it I was even more lost.

Windows 8 is a big step backwards. I like windows xp much better.

You have to click on much more stuff just to do easy things.

Seems my old IBM T60 with XP was faster (simpler).
I told the salesman this but let him know to keep in mind it's coming from a guy who still has 8-tracks.
He had heard/read of them but has never seen one.

I'm also planning to do this, there's a highly recommended and cheap program available. Otherwise, I'm liking the touchscreen feature with my 23" Dell AIO system and have had no issues.

I have it on my bar computer (this one), and I don't like it. If you have a touchscreen monitor or tablet, it would be much better. Windows 7 is great.

I agree.. Win XP is still hard to beat.. My company has had so many problems with Win 7 that they have quit trying to implement it..

Pretty sure I have the issue sorted out. I accidentally deleted Google version XX ? & reloaded another. Found out what I did, made the change back, everything seems good.
