    Thanks!
What do you mean balance about? Shaked wires or bad quality of rims from some brands?
I understand that maintenance will be hard really.... but beauty are demanding victims...

My experience with the balance of wire wheeels is based on early 60s English sports cars which required the wires to be tensioned one at a time to spec just to get the wheel to ride correctly. The wheels of today must be better than they were back then. You need to ask someone on this Board using a new set about their experiences.

I see 150 wires wheels...I think that 150 wires is too difficult for regular checking but I think so many of the ones will be keep proper tension... my guess

With todays technology, just about every company out that offers a wire wheel, produces a good wheel, the best or most notable company being Dayton. Like the guys are saying, if something was to happend to the wheel i.e. if you hit a pothole and bend the wheel, they're extremely hard to true back. So I suggest, if your roads are pretty bad, go with a less expensive company, making it easier on your wallet to trash and replace the wheel. Up keep on them is also not the easiest, because unless you have a good cleaner to get inbetween the spokes, you will spend the good part of a day running a rag inbetween each spoke, and the more spokes the longer and more difficult the job.
But I love the way wires look
    take care,

Personally I like the Cragar 40 spoke classic.
Looks a lot like the original Buick spokes.
Maybe not the best wheel especially compared to Daytons
but been around a long time. Then put some wide white tires with it.
Have seen that combo on 66 - 67 Rivis and looks pretty good.
Then put her down in the weeds with some air bags.
If you got any money left, I can make a few more suggestions!:beer

The cleaning is an issue, wife's toothbrush goes missing from time to time. I've heard you can snap spokes if you :3gears: too often, but I'm not 100% on that one.

Like the other guy said. Cragar star wires are the best wheel out there. Although nobody makes them anymore. I just bought a pair of NOS 50 spoke star wires from e-bay for my 66 electra. I hope to someday find another pair!! Oh ya, the star wires are over sized spokes that are welded into the wheel, no adjustments or trueing problems.

My 2 cents: The wires that I have used (Dayton) allowed more flex in the wheel. You could feel the difference. My older British cars that used wires were tuned for them and they were mainly for road use, not racing. If you want performance, cornering, or high G force go with a cast wheel/modular wheel. Wires are great for looks and cruising only!

Of course I do mean for general use - not for racing... but sometimes a throttle in vertical position:laugh: ...
