My Tomatoes are almost ready. Can’t imagine life without that great BLT. And it’s not going to be soy bacon either. Soy has female like hormones and can contribute to Alzheimer’s.

Add some Tequila salt and ice. Now you got a Margarita.

I don't disagree with this, but I firmly believe in all things in moderation. We eat a lot more poultry and seafood then we do red meat, but a steak goes really well once in a while. After all, ya gotta die of something.

Not sure if I want to live much past 95 anyway if poor eyesight and deafness are involved. My hearing is already pretty bad. The eyesight part really depresses me.

    ...for now...

...with colon cancer on rise, perhaps current processing practices are a factor. And there's DNA, by all rights Keith Richards should be dead...

Red Meat is bad for you according to study. Study brought to you by the Soy Industry. :D. Soy should be used for seat cushions and soy sauce.

I am going out on a limb and going to say processed foods and too much corn syrup are most to blame.

People say the same about the relatively few smokers that live to an old age. It is not about where they are in age. It is about where they otherwise may have been and mitigation of risk.

I do not miss the red meat one bit.

Actually, Keith Richards is dead. Bella Lugosi looked better.

I've been told that Eskimos' diet consists mainly of animal fat and red meat. Oh and raw fish.

I find it amusing that people spend so much time obsessively trying to save themselves. NOBODY gets out alive. Have a good steak now and then, man!

My wife complains that all I ever eat is red meat, and I have to correct her because sometimes its brown when it's cooked just right, sometimes black when overcooked, and sometimes pink when under cooked. I consider fish and chicken vegetables, but my dietitian daughter disagrees with me.

That has very specific handling procedures. I wouldn’t mess with it myself.

They used to put Borax in the ground meat or sausage back in the day when there were open meat markets in New York, back when immigrants were flooding Ellis island.
I guess theBorax made the meat look fresh or something

I find rare or medium rare burger is easier on my stomach (to digest)....if I eat one med-well or well done it's like it is a burnt foreign object in my stomach....feel like I ate a brick...
Nutritional value goes way down the more you cook foods....

My mom always asked for her steak caught on fire i.e. crispy black on outside but still mooing on the inside....died of stomach cancer.....

Borax is deadly. I kind of doubt that?
