I need a pair of extremely nice original valve covers for the 70-71 455. These need to be dent free, no pitting, no previous metal work, etc.
I also need a second pair of nice ones. If you have a set with perfect mounting surfaces and side walls but a minor dig on the top, Perfect!
Or, you have two sets of Perfect covers, lets talk. I also have a few parts nobody is inline for that fit a 71 GS that I could trade if that was of interest.
These all must be OEM valve covers.
Hope to hear what you have!
Or.....if you wanna take a guess where I'm headed and have something on the shelf doin' nothin', please let me know.
Thank you in advance for your help!

The final finished parts will end up getting new chrome, so no, they don't have to be the chrome version, just really nice cores.

Hi guys... Troy is locating these so I can build him some custom stock appearing tall valve covers this summer.. what we need is no dents, and no rust, Greasy and grimy ok. Sometimes those are the best ones to work with, as all that grease and grim has kept the rust away. Also no rust inside.. often times when motors sit for a long time, the valve covers rust from the inside. They need to be in very nice shape. Need two pairs.

Going to be chrome plated when done, so I would rather not have to go thru the trouble of stripping the plating now.. so painted ones are preferred.

    Thanks

I have a nice set that will for sure work for the bottom half. One of them is nice enough to work as a top piece. They're clean and blasted already. Ready for customizing!

Let me know, I can ship on Tuesday if no one in front of me comes through!

Have one set of '71 covers. Can pull and photograph if you are still in search of more. This engine had "BCE" bracketry on the front, if that makes any difference - i.e. Large Car.

I still need a pair of almost perfect, pit free covers.
Let JW and me know what you have.

Not to hijack the thread. I am interested in factory chrome Stage 1 valve covers. You can PM me, if you wish.

1232068 and 1232069 will be stamped on the top of the covers.

Need either ones that have all the factory paint still on them, and no dents, or ones that have been cleaned and blasted, with no paint, dents or pits.. I have plenty of pitted ones, trying to eliminate the pit repair work if we can. Any valve cover that has rust, will be pitted.

No rust/dent OE chrome covers will also work. Chrome condition not a factor, they will be replated..

    Thanks
