Good morning fella’s, The pictures below shows the fender support (or at least that’s what I call it since I don’t know it’s real name) on the passenger side of my ‘67 GS400. I took a pic of that just to show what I need for the driver side. Since I don’t have one for the driver side, my front fender is very loose and rattly up by the front bumper on the left side of the car. does anyone have one of these laying around? thanks in advance, -Jared
Try contacting Cole, he may have what you're looking for. http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?members/cole.1467/
Jared, That part you need is called "support". It is the same part for '68-'72 Buick A-body cars and left and right interchange. GM pt. # 1383515. I may have an extra here if the others can't help. Matt
Awesome info, Matt. Thanks for choking in! I haven’t heard back from Cole yet, but he said he’d take a look for me this weekend.
Hey Jared Go with Pilgrim or Matt, we just got 3 days of steady snow so my cars are fairly buried. Not sure if I am remembering correctly but I think the 66-67 supports are longer
The snow disappeared and I was down at my parts cars and grabbed a pair of 67 supports. Here is a comparison picture of the difference in lengths between 66-7 and 68-72's
