    daward Measure twice, cut once.

I used the Hotckis Lowering springs on all 4 corners of my 2 door, and I'd like to raise the rear back up so I can fit a bigger set of Drag Radials without major rubbing.

Anyone have a set? I'm stuffing 275/50 15's underneath, and right now its TIGHT!

    Thanks

Ed If you are looking for stock used, I have a set off a 66 GS. Take $20.00 plus shipping. I am parting 4 66 GS's. Thanks Bill Sangster.

How does the rearend sit on those GS's? I'm just curious, because when I replaced my original springs with these Hotchkis lowering springs the car actually raised up a little LOL

Ed, you are correct used stock spring may not raise the car. Just a tought, put air bags in the one's you have. Then you can adjust the height and they are good for traction. Thanks Bill.

I'm afraid to go with airbags, I had airshocks on a car once and it handled like piss when they were jacked.

I did roll the fenders today, and its TIGHT but clear. Is there a spring spacer I could use? I know you can do it with the Chevy rears, but our Buick rears bolt the spring down to the perch.

Damnit, I LOVE how big these 275s are under my Skylark. I'd hate to have to drop down to a 235/60

Ed, I've used spacers between the pad on the rear (it's flat on a '66) and the spring. I used discs cut from 1/2 aluminum. That'll be good for an inch or so. If you want to go higher, you better replace the springs.
Good to see your still working on the 'lark! Looks like you're getting ready for a few trips down the 1/4. :beer
