Ok, Ok, I know my chances are slim, but I thought so what, lets give it a try.
I want to swap from my 2.56 to 3.23 or 3.42
Open or posi, does not matter.
    Thanks for watching,
    Ralf

Ralf-- will you need a new series carrier for this swap?

Jim, not sure what you mean.
My plan is to get gears (used or new) and to get a posi from monzaz, or get used gears with used posi and have that rebuild from monzaz.
I don't know if this is the answer to your question, though.

So when you say "series 1,2,3," you refere to the steps as Jim alias monzaz described below (series1=2.56, series3=3.23-3.42)? Think I got it now :)
With the OD-trans I need to go above 2.XX, thats why I am looking for 3.23 or 3.42.

Think I got a 3.23, I will sell complete internals, used. Can check ratio tomorrow for sure if interested.

Absolutely interested! Is it a posi-unit, or open?

Thanks a lot for your effort, but that ratio will not work for my purpose.

Sorry, was sure it was a 3.23 but just have got it mixed up with another car.

    Not a problem at all!!
Maybe in turn another member thinks he has a 2.76, which will turn out as a 3.23 :):) Keep your fingers crossed for me.

.... giving it a little push.
Maybe someone (or his wife) has made a New Years resolution to part from some stuff in the basement or in the garage. In that case I am more than happy to help out :)

Time for another push, unfortunately no opportunity opened up so far.

    No longer searching.
Unfortunately I did not get what I want and ended up persuing the more expensive path, which is getting a 8.5 axle shipped to Germany.
