Clearly I have been fishing in the wrong pond. I posted an ad over on the Buick AACA forum a year ago looking for a Smog Pump and no response. Chris Lee posts an ad here on the V8Buick forum and BOOM, he finds a part right away. Apparently the AACA Buick forum is full of people who have already put the Smog Pumps back ON their cars, the V8Buick forum is where the people who have taken the Smog Pumps OFF of their cars and have them available hang out...ou: So...anyway. I am looking for a Smog Pump system for a 1967 GS400. I need everything (hoses, pump, fittings) except for the aluminum bracket that mounts the smog pump and the power steering pump. The Smog Pump is about the last thing I need to return my car back to it's original, as shipped from the factory state. Any responses or leads are appreciated. http://forums.aaca.org/f117/i-r-setup-1967-gs400-skylark-373010.html
T.T.T. Parts from any '67 Buick that was originally sold in California will work (except for one hose). So if you have a big car with a SMOG set up that wouldn't mind parting with, let me know.
There are at least two smog specialists in Hemmings. Believe that they are both in Ohio. I have sold cores to one of them. It has been a while but i should be able to find his name / address somewhere, if you can't access Hemmings somehow. addendum: William Hodel is one of them.
Of course Joe would have to want to sell it first. o No: what's something like that worth ? I know they're hard to find. send me a PM. Lets be perfectly clear first. this part/parts is NOT listed for sale and not required to be publicly priced on the "parts for sale" section of this site. I am however interested in it's value and would like to get some personal feedback.
I have found a pump, valves, and the metal tubes that attach to the manifolds. Still looking for some of the hoses that go to the check valves if anyone has them.
