I bought a transmission jack from a guy today and in conversation, when I mentioned I had a Buick he said he had this set of wheels he thought were for a GS. They have code WV stamped on them and also have October 1977 dates. I have no idea what they are off of but told himwould see what I could find out. Anyone know? They are for sale so if anyone has any idea what they would be worth, please mention it. They are driver quality. I don't need them so maybe I can help someone out here that does. Thanks.

Bill, are these Skylark wheels with 4 3/4" bolt circle or full size wheels with 5" bolt circle? I've never seen a Skylark wheel of any size or year with WV.

Well, I'm not absolutely sure. He said they were 4 3/4 but I didn't measure them so I can be 100% certain. I suspected 5" myself. I'll give him a call and have him measure them. At least I'll know what they are.

Easy way to tell is all 4 3/4 wheels were made of an outer rim with the center welded in. 5" pattern were a front half and a rear half welded together. That is there is no seam showing on the front side.

I dug up a copy of the Buick wheel chart (gleaned from this site) and do not see any WV code on here. As mentioned above, measuring the wheel and bolt spacing may get you closer to an answer. Buick WHEELCHART.jpg

Well, it's a start. There was definitely a seam in front. They looked an awful lot like the WG wheels but with a little less offset.
