@#&%!! northern cars... rust - hiding everywhere... couldn't just replace 1/4's, no that won't even get me out the door - gotta do the trunk floor and, fenders too - so I finally resigned myself to those and then... only then, did I build the courage to pull up the carpets to drill the floor out for my bucket seat install... more rust - literally separating the front pan from the rear along the brace area just behind the front seats. Can't even mount the inner seat track foot on either seat 'cuz there's nothing but floor brace where once there was floor :ball: well, at least the bucket's will look good when they permanently mounted ray:
well Scott I know how you feel. Rust is my least favorite thing to repair on a car. It is times like these that remind me of John DeLorean and then I think how easy it would have been to put a sheet of stainless in the press instead of mild steel. They don't call it cancer for nothing.
ah well i know what you mean lots of rust here also ( holland next to sea and wet ) just keep on welding and you'll get it done eventualy but for your car there at least are panels avaleble i have to make everything myself  Greetz Lennard and good luck
Best advice I received in this hobby: "Buy the best body and frame you can. It will be cheaper and easier in the long run"
