    Default Oil filter needed

I will need in the near future an AC Delco PF 7 oil filter or later equivalent, but not the dinky PF 24. Thanks in advance.

    Found this:
Original NOS white AC Delco Oil Filter with RARE 1' nut on the bottom.
    GM #5577410/AC PF-7. Applications are:
    Buick Partial 1959 thru 1966
    Cadillac All 1960 thru 1966
    Oldsmobile Late 1959 thru 1966 V-8
Pontiac All 1960 thru 1965 except 6-cylinder Tempest
    Pontiac All 1966 6-cylinder and V-8
    Rambler All 1960 V-8
Studebaker Late 1962 thru 1966 All

This filter is a must when you are going to be judged at any of the big National car shows! This filter is NOT reproduced with the nut on the bottom. Filter and gasket are in mint condition. Typical surface rust on the top. This can be easily cleaned with steel wool or scotchbrite pad. There are no loose particles inside the filter. This is a brand new, never used oil filter. $125.00 plus actual shipping.

Jim, thanks for the tip. But, I should've said, I'm looking for something more down to earth at this point. Something I can put a coat of paint on and use without shedding a tear when it's time to replace it. It sounds like the current K&N.

The K&N HP-2003 is good. How about a WIX 51258? I hear good things about Mobil 1 filters as well, just too pricy for me at $11+. And if you want to get real pricey the Syn Lube is $24 but is white with blue lettering.

    Cool Re: Oil filter needed

Like Tom said.....just get the NAPA filter and paint it blue. I've been using the shorter PF24's without any problem, but I see a potential benefit here. With an extra 1/2 quart of oil in there from a longer filter, it will run slightly cooler and extend the life of the oil b/c there would be more in there.
