Here's the latest:--- Mike Bucy, our tech director, called Godaddy this morning and spoke with the tech manager. Mike insisted that he went out on the floor, and questioned the techs directly to see if they were working on our issue. Once again, they said they were "physically working on it right now" something we have heard for several days now. First it was get the hardware back up, which they did, then we did some quick database maintenance, and went to roll it back out Tuesday afernoon.. but it didn't work. The board is all there, and the database is intact, but their software to link the two is not functioning together properly. For you Techies, the memchache program and the version of PHP they are running are not compatible. This what we have been told. My personal reseach on the issue does turn up potential php conflicts, depending on exactly what programs/versions they are attempting to use. This is well documented out there.
Mike gave the tech director a 2 hour ultimatum on a call back on the status of the situation... that call was never made by godaddy, they have proven they don't care about our business.
Late this afternoon, Mike and I conferred on a new host, picked out a proper package for the board, we will pull the trigger on the move as of 9am tomorrow, if your still looking at this screen. So one way or the other, V8Buick should be back in business by the weekend. Everyone should clear the cookies and temp internet pages out of their browser, so you can see the latest version of the board when it comes up. Thank you for your patience. JW
