I think it was about 18 months between the time they announced the Riviera catalog was coming soon, to the time I received it in the mail.
    So hang tight.

OPGI is a poorly run company.

Bad customer service and many stock outs.

I recommend you look elsewhere for parts.

Use caution when dealing with OPGI. I bought some seat covers for my Riviera last year and was VERY dissapointed. And had to pay the shipping cost to return them. Cost my $20 to return inferior products. Bill

This is nothing new for OPG. Do not get your hopes up for anything new to the market.

I think they ran out of steam with the economy in the tank, which is understandable...

Bill, Was it the bad quality of the upholstery that make you dissapointed? I was just on my way to order new seat upholstery for my '72 Riviera at OPGI, when I read this post.
Seems like a no-go for OPGI.

Where to go for upholstery? There are not many company's that have seat covers for '72 Riviera's.

Find a local upholstery guy and have it done the way you want. You may pay more but it will be worth it. When I started my trunk upgrade I ordered a set of floor mats from OPGI. My trunks been done for 3 weeks and the matts are still on BO for another 2 weeks. 8 weeks total.

Just saw a commercial for OPGI Buick catalogs with a bunch of pics/video of classic Buick's to include Riviera's on the Speed Channel during a break in the auction. Pretty cool.

I tried to order something from them after the holiday and got nothing but trouble. All I wanted was a light socket for the rear brake/taillight and a part to hold the lightswitch to the dashboard. Trying to find that part is a pain first you have to know the name of the part.

When I ordered the parts they needed to have all this register and create a profile and get some stupid password. I did not want to do all of this I just wanted to go in as a guest and buy my parts and go home but nope could not do that. Plus once I put in my E-mail address it came up that I already have created an profile and all I have to do is put in my password. Well I never had signed up as far as I could remember.

I was never able to order the parts I needed and when I E-mailed them on the issue they said I have to create an account and get a password and sign in to buy parts basically. They gave me a default password to use and then I can create my account with this. I still would like to get the parts but I do not think I am going to go there I have to research them more before I buy from them now. It sounds like some have had bad luck already.

Why didn't you just call them and order it over the phone?

That does seem the most simplest way of ordering the parts and can you believe that this will be easier than sitting here on my computer and ordering it. I did think about making the call just didn't do it yet.

OK OPGI, still waiting. And will it be just the same old stuff thats in the other catalogs with a new catalog cover. The word that I got was lots of new parts. Somehow I doubt it.
