Default 94 Olds 88 LS Battery going dead.

I bought a clean 94 Olds 88 with 37,000 miles on it. Everything works, but if the car sits for 3-4 days the battery goes dead. No dome, trunk, glovebox or underhood lights are stuck on. Has a new battery and Alternator Thanks Steve

Just because the battery is new doesn't mean it does not have a bad cell....did you take it to get it load tested.....if it checks out..then you need to check
the car for a ground fault/short....easiest way is to check with a voltmeter while removing fuses one at a time.

I have two new batteries, I tried both with same results. I did just hear these cars had a problem with a connection under the drivers side carpet with a corroding ground. Thanks for your help I will start tracing. Steve

If you have vanity mirrors, double check to make sure those lights are turned/turning off properly. I had the same type of issue with my Caddy and thats what it ended up being.
Also, I would get the battery load tested if you havent already.

    Steve,
Try hooking up a test light in series with the battery positive connection. If the test light is on then you know you have a draw. Go to the fusebox and pull each fuse, one at a time. If the light goes out you've found the circuit the draw is in. Hope this helps.

You really should use a meter and not a test light on computer equipped cars.
