What would be easier finding a stock alternator bracket with all the correct parts or to just fab my own?

Are we talking non-a/c? Or generator to alternator?
And if you did fab one up, would it be for a new location, or like a factory mount?
If I had the means and the talent, Id make one similar to the factory one. I dont know about cheaper, but Id bet you could sell a few to offset the cost of making your own.
Custom mounting brackets for Nailheads has become a pretty big buisness lately.

It would beach and to alt non a/c in a new location lower on the passenger side. Fabing parts is no big deal I've made parts for my custom motorcycle and bicycles and I have a couple of friends who own their own custom shops
Then I say go for it.

Perhaps you could come up with something like this?
Dave's three belt low mount.jpg
I think I've seen that setup before he made a mount that mounts between the block and engine mount. It looks interesting but I need to see what clearance I have
