    Did GM use the same red in all the older Buicks? 60's era?

    NO! different years used slightly different colors. Use the guide in the attached reference , based on model year and trim code from cowl tag, to get the chart for the CORRECT color for the interior. Most cars used at least two different shades of any given color, depending on the part application. (flat or semi gloss usually). Chart for interior items is usually on page two for the year.
