    Thanks Jim,
I got Jim to move this out of the Race forum and put it here because it will be more street driven than raced. My engineer has approved this engine for street use here in Australia.

On a tangent, How much nitro could I put into this engine? Ken Betts and crew might like to chime in here. I would like to run maybe +25% at a muscle car event we have here annually. I only have a magnafuel quickstar 275 fuel pump. How could I introduce the nitro without upgrading the pump. Seperate pump that I could remove? I have -12 coming from the tank.
    Cheers

Had a great phone conversation with Mike T. this morning regarding my short block. We have settled on an E85 setup to assist my 13.4:1 comp.
He also said I will have it the next couple of months. YEAH!!!!

Finished the plumbing on my CFE tunnel ram. I do have concerns with air pockets, but I am willing to wait till I get the shortblock from Mike and the Mezeire 55GPH water pump to see what happens. I couldn't get the bends any tighter than I have so thats why I have routed them on the oposite sides.

I was going to plum mine something like that, but I was afraid the first intake I had would not allow them to pass under the main pleamum (sp) to the back cooling tubes.

Then I changed from the Torker Two to a Team G and now there is plenty of room.

Will take some pictures and post later.

Mike at TA organised a set of pushrods for me as he had my complete shortblock and a set of stg2 TEs to get the length right. The pushrods werent ready by the time Mike shipped out my shortblock so he sent them out to me. And here they are.
They are 3/8" tapered to 5/16"

I've never seen a tapered set like that...very cool (and not cheap, I'll bet!).

Yeah, I wouldnt normally post pics of pushrods, but thought these might be worthy. There wasnt much change out of $500 including freight.

Nitro methane??? What is your comp ratio? The top ring needs to be positioned lower on the piston. We also moved the spark plug location. My nephew put 1 to 2 cups in a full tank of gas and sent the entire motor south. I would much rather see you use alcohol, but very corrosive, And you would need new carbs. Run it the way you have it now and see the results, You can do a lot of tuning before you do anything else. ken

    Hi Ken,
My comp ratio is 13.0:1. 1 to 2 cups ****!
This engine is an E85 engine. Just thought I could try a little bit without changing too much
