Just got to thinking...oh boy...stand back!...
Was just wondering...what alternator bracket (lower part) works with this a/c bracket?
Also...what water pump? Short one or long one?
And...what pulley part numbers as there are different ones as per year of motor?
I have pulleys for the 70 non-air or air and also pulleys for the 71 motor air type
and an assortment of other pulleys and brackets.
I'm sure I can make it work anyway with what I have in my parts bin but...was
just wondering what part numbers on the pulleys (crank, water pump, and ps pump.)
No big deal though, but the more info we have available... the easier the install.
Thanks again from all of us, for putting this project forward.

    Sincerely,
    Buick Eric / Oregon

Ok so the two builds that we did for the pulleys.
on the first one we used TA performance BBB aluminum pulleys on the crank and water pump and a chrome dual groove alternator pulley from Powermaster.
on the second one we used the factory BBB pulleys I believe both of these cars are short water pump cars.

Eric when you get around to clearing out you inbox I have a PM for you.

    Well guys,
it's been a while I know but here is the scoop.

I have sent out some PM's to the guys that sent them to me giving a quick update.

I have had these brackets installed on 2 shop projects and they are working as expected. I have sent another to Eric in Oregon and he seams to be happy.

I have another 2 welded and waiting to go out to members. When I hear back from these two sales on how they fit I will be glad to produce some more.
I would like to do batches of at least 3 at a time. The price for the bracket is $200 plus shipping. Shipping to the US is seams to be between $40-45 depending where you are, A little pricy I know but they shipping coming from Canada.
If you guys are still interested send me a PM and I will let you now how things are moving along.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I received my bracket from Longhorn. It is a very nice piece that is very well constructed. Welds are solid, plates are thick and the cuts are clean. I won't be able to install until probably this winter when I order my VA kit.
Thanks for taking this on Longhorn.

Thanks Todd, I tried to build this bracket as true to the original as I was able to as well as keep it in line with what you may come to expect from a Vintage air bracket. I have had several of their brackets for different makes and models over the years and I feel we got a pretty good match of both original look and sturdy design.

    Thanks everyone for the interest.

How much are you asking for the bracket ? Do I need to move my alternator to the other side then ?

No...on the one I received anyway...you don't have to move the alternator to the other side!

Tim the bracket is $200 plus shipping. I am in Canada so shipping generally works out to $40-45.

No the alternator stays on the passenger side. The bracket was designed using a factory combination AC/alternator mount.
you must retain you original alternator tensioner. The aluminum or steel alternator bracket that is bolted to the head will be removed an replaced with the new combo bracket.
