    Default 3rd line typing issue.

For some reason I am only able to get about one sentence or two in before my keystrokes stop working. I type about 40 wpm and this sentence is evidence of my grammar and technique but when I get to about the 3rd line, the forum jumps and omits letters.

This is annoying and I was just wondering what is going on. It makes it hardto commnet nd leave requests fr pars What you see here is what happens every tie Only hapens on V8 Buick.com

Have you tried closing all other active tabs and windows and programs running in the background? I sometimes wonder if "autosave" causes similar issues.

Click on the Settings link in the upper right side of the screen. Then scroll down on the left side of the page is General Settings, click it. Then scroll down to near the bottom of the next page under the "Miscellaneous Options" section, and check the "standard editor" option, and save the changes.

Been having the same issue, it seems to have worked following your directions, thanks so much.

Man was that annoying having to hit the same letter key sometimes 4 times before the letter would appear! Its working great now. http://www.v8buick.com/images/smilies/xyxthumbs.gif

Any idea how to do this for Windows 8.1? I've spent 30 min looking for a "standard editor" option and another 5 frustrtin minutes tying tis sentence.

Oh wow, I'm a moron! For some reason I was dead set on making this change in my computer's Settings, not the settings for my account on this website.

Now that I got past that mental hurdle all is wonderful. Thanks for the help!!!

I'm just glad it wasn't only me. I was losing use of the spacebar also. It-was-interesting-to-begin-typing-like-this....
