    Default security warning??

I have recently been getting a security warning when clicking to go to the site. It is from NORD VPN saying computer may be at risk and asking to upload software. If a go back out and in again, this doesn't appear. I'm sure it's a scam, wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Only occurs when going to this forum and nowhere else.

Not sure about your issue, but everytime I try to get on the forum I get a bunch of warnings/ads. I back out and return and all is fine. It is only this site.

It's a redirect issue, but not sure why. (see image below)

I get it if I search online and get a link to the v8buick.com site content for my search topic/word, if I back out and then click that link, it resolves correctly.

It may be some bad DNS records "out there" or some other issue causing a redirect.

Doubt it is with the v8buick.com code, but maybe a bad php or other script leftover from maintenance, or someone attempting to insert somthing into the site's directory structure and it failed.

I have had such happen before on sites I have managed, but it has been quite a few years.

I get this every time I search google and click on a v8buick link. Sometimes I can't back out because of pop ups

The virus is in the google link your clicking.. there is a whole bunch of archived stuff out there, that has a virus in it, from a hack we had about 5 years ago.

To access the site on the regular basis, you should go to the homepage, and then save that in your favorites, and click that to come back, instead of with any type of google search.

Those archived pages with the virus in them are out of our control, nothing I can do with them.. it's not in our archive system.

Makes sense. It's not when just accessing the home page. It's when searching for specific things buick related and a v8buick link pops up. The search thru the site leaves a lot to be desired so I generally just take to google where it weeds out the irrelevant threads better
