Default Upper front a-arm attachment method

I ordered a set of the .9" taller upper a-arms from UMI for my 65 Buick Special. I'm not intending to build a g machine but just wanted it to handle back roads better. I failed to notice and wasn't informed by their technical guy that they only came with rod end attachment instead of a urethane or delrin bushing. My concern is the harshness and noise I have often heard people complain about with solid suspension components. Their tech guy said the upper arm doesn't transmitt NVH and that the delrin bushing would be just as rough. Is this true or should I send them back and get the BMR poly A-arms? I'm not very pleased with UMI right now for some other misleading tack-ticks but figured I would ask people's thoughts before sending them back and going with BMR.

It's true, the upper arms transmit very little NVH.

Thanks! I asked the same question on Pro-touring.com and got similar answers so I started installing them last night.

The original 64-65 upper A-arms also had solid metal bushings! Rubber bushings were used 66-up.

I got everything put on last night. The fit and instructions were great for the Viking coilovers and the UMI upper a-arms. I will drive it tonight after I grease all the ball joints and re-check all the bolts.

Excuse the mess, finished up about 11:00 pm and wasn't in the mood to clean up first.
