Greetings!!! Just an introduction from sunny south. I have just taken position of this great automobile. 42,000 original miles, class B+ restoration, no changes or modifications to the original production. I am 76 years old, learned to drive on my father's brand new 1956 Oldsmobile hardtop sedan. I plan to use my Buick as a "driver", no tailor queens in my garage. My Buick will be sharing the garage with my 1946 Ford Tudor Sedan that I purchased 5 years ago. The Ford has been "Resto-Rodded", and over the past 5 years I have added 38,000 miles to the odometer. While I don't plan to start racking up drive time in heavy doses on the Buick , at least not right away, I do plan to do some extended driving. I do realize that I am driving a vintage 1956 car with all of the "modern developments of 1956", I will be proceeding cautiously!!! I would like to have some feedback from members who have "ventured out in the world" with similar vintage cars.
It is a pleasure and an honor to be on board, and I look froward to any feed back you would like to share.
