    Hey Zach,

You mentioned side pipes on your '73 GS. The following is a picture of the 1973 Baldwin Motion Chevelle with side pipes.

    Hi
I have stored it in Pompano Beach in FL.In November i am going to travel over there with my wife and the youngest kids,so they can enjoy Disneyland and everything.
I really have fell in love with this car, and I had no problems with on our 1 month vacation.
I am going to ship it to Norway after our vacation in Nov.Dec.
But the gas price here in Norway are now 6.7 a gallon. So it's crazy.
But it's worth it.The neighbours think I am crazy,So what.

Your Electra have a beautiful color, is it original.

Yes it's the original color. But it came without a vinyl top.

Any color suggestions?? (I was thinking bout same color and a white/cream vinyl top)
I like the way that Riv just swallowed the engine and tranny (GULP).

    Keith,
Very nice Chevelle. What are you using for a rear and axels. I have a 73 Regal, want to run a spool but not sure about the axels. What times are you getting. Nice wheels up shot.

    Thanks

It's a 8.5" ring gear housing with Mark Williams axles and spool.

Best ET so far is 10.46. I have been index racing so I usually hit the 10.50 bucket (AM/C) or 10.75 class (AM/D).

    Thanks for asking.

    Default My 73' Century

This is my 1973 Buick Century that I had shipped up from Colorado. I've had it for about two years. The paint is sun baked but, the body is very clean. It had a 350-4 soon to be a 70 SF block 455. It's a project in the works.

The 73 is pretty rusty but I'm going to get some parts off it. I found it in nothern BC, Canada in a junkyard. I always love seeing 4 doors or 2 doors, are kojaks on this board?

Well then I guess I would love Norway as much as I love BC, Canada. I had a busy summer with my Buick, I drove 1200 km from home to work for the summer. 100 km from my destination the rear main seal went completely but I had enough oil to limp it the rest of the way. I pulled out the 80 Buick 350 and removed what little was left of the rope seal and installed a neoprene seal from ta. No more oil leaks on the way home but I have a carb problem now of course! I painted the car black this summer just to keep it sealed up untill I can get a gun and some nice deep blue paint. I am buying a 4x4 truck so my Buick can get the work it needs.

Amongst several other things the Riviera needed a re-paint... the car had every color of the rainbow lately (primer), but finally it's back in its original color (Honey Gold Irid.) Ofcourse I could have choosen many other colors, but this Riv had to stick to its original.

Don't worry...those rims are the old ones....got another beautiful set of Ralley Wheels

Now it will take more time to get all the trim etc back on the Riv.
