Here is a place to upload your photo of your 68-69 Buick! Sorry but we lost the other thread due to database problems from the summer.

Here is mine. This was last year. I am just about done with the chassis and hope to be setting the body back on in about a month or so.

    Default 69 GS pictures

Just got mine September 2004. 28K, with most parts original. IT needs a lot of work, but I'm in no rush for a trailer queen.

    Default Jim's Riv

This is a picture of my late Uncle Jim's 68 Riviera GS. Uncle Jim was an aerospace engineer and the original owner. He looked at the Toronado first, but saw the Riviera and fell in love with the styling. It was his first new car. He used it everyday to go back and forth to work until 1980 when a minor front end collision sidelined it. We repaired it and started re-painting it in the mid 80s. It remained dormant in his garage until his passing in 1999. My cousins gave me the car at that time because they said Uncle Jim would have wanted me to have it. I got it running and cleaned it up. I went through all the mechanicals and its now a solid dependable car. The only item that will be addressed is the cracking laquer paint job. Everything else will remain as Jim had it, correct or not. This is a very special car to me as I was very close with Uncle Jim. This is the car that got me obsessed with Buicks. Alot of memories tied to this one.

We just purchased this 69 stage 1 convertible. The pictures aren't the best. They were taken in the garage were we bought it. We will get some better pictures in the spring.

    Default Chrome Trim

Are my eyes deceiving me or is the side trim on the coves intact? I've had three GS's and never has any of them had that. Cool.

    Default My 1968 GS 400 with a 1970 455 .030

I bought her for $3000.00 summer of 2003. The interior is in excellent shape. The exterior needs some touches here and there.

I can't wait for summer to get here - she doesn't go out much in the rain (and I live in the Seattle area =).

Just ideling down the road she sets off car alarms.
