I'm actually trying to find a source for 1970-1972 spindles for a car with factory disc brakes. I have had a very difficult time locating a source for them; new or used. Thoughts?

A 1972 grill would be a nice part to reproduce.

Door shells not skins as the Buick GS 70 to 72 ins more apt to have rust inside the shell than the skin. If thats all thats available then yeah skins . By chance is a chevelle frame the same on a door?

I would love to see reproductions of the center section of the hoods for 68-72 gs or the complete hood at a decent price. good hoods are getting harder to find

How about a steel 70 GS hood. I'd be game for that one.

I have a 73 buick century...What about interior rear 1/4 panels, inner sail panels, headliner trim all the plastic interior parts that crumble when you try to remove them from 40yrs of age.

Also reproduce trim for exterior...the trim that goes around the rear 1/4 windows and the trim that goes around the bottom of the trunk and on both sides of the trunk.

billet upper and lower grills would be nice, being i can't find replacement factory ones that aren't broke... they make hardly no peproduction pieces for this year or bodystyle.

If anybody has any of hteses items or know of a place to get them i need all the help i can get..

Better late than never. Thread was started in 04, still no vendor commitment , 8 years later. When then? Apparently the economic downturn has slowed the need for these parts. We are but a small niche. Perhaps when the economy gets better (perhaps I should have said" IF" ) the need will return. JIM/Rott

LH and RH Quarter Panels / Skins and patches are definately a must on a 40 + yr old car, and most companies don't make them or are out of stock and have no idea on when they'll replemish inventory. They definately need to address these issues and make repro parts, as there are thousands of skylarks / gs / gsx's / and other variations of these models out there that still exist. That's my .02 cents.

Although probably expensive to manufacture, 1972 gs/ skylark grille would be nice to see reproduced

The problem here is that parts also dictate the project. I mean, if I knew that I could buy outer wheelhouses, really good quarters, door skins, fenders and the rear window filler piece then I would seriously consider saving the 72 GS 455 HT I have here right now. But I can't vote for those parts because as it sits, unless they make all of the parts needed, this car is dead in the water. No point having doorskins if i don't have outer wheelhouses, etc.

Another piece that might be worth considering is the cowl area by the lower windshield, seems like that is getting to be an issue on these cars, and they fit all a-bodies but I have never seen anything advertised.

I second the lower windshield area. Mine is all but gone on the inside. Windshiled leaked ran down and rusted out the dash and bottom windshield tray.

There are sources for those. OPGI has it in their 2014 paper catalog for Chevelle / El Camino. Page 189 - Front Lower Windshield Cowl Panel. $364.99

Or used - www.azchevs.com / DVAP / CTC auto ranch / Memory Lane / Hidden Valley Auto among probably many.
