Don't have enough pictures of the "blue 72"? VIN on its way in PM. Scanned the build sheet and will send that when I get back home... BTW, took care of the oil leak that developed after changing the timing chain... unusual way... but dry... still running quite well.

I'll need your cowl tag info and all the options you can think of. Here is the 72 sales sheet for you to refer to for the options:

Yes....yes I try to, anyway. If I don't see a VIN listed on the auction, I will contact the seller and ask some questions as if I were a prospective buyer.

Or you wait for the end and contact the buyer. Sure he'll be more motivated than the seller !

I reckon I could do that for you, but as far as you are the registation site owner, you may have more legitimity (and the guy would wonder what is this f.. french guy harassing him...)

Default Yep, saved it from ignominy!

Spent 2.5 hours in the seller's driveway washing it down inside and out before driving it away. The dirt was so thick, you could barely tell what color everything was! But a complete, practically nothing-missing car with unripped seats and an uncracked dashpad. And a RED engine that runs like a top and fries it's right rear with seemingly half-throttle!

    Default Yeah, lots of chips.

And a dent in the passenger door, but not a fatal one.

Haven't decided what to do with it; already have a few people expressing interest.

Say Adam, you'd know this: what VIN code indicates the hi-po 455? This thing sure is strong! Engine's sure dirty, though. And somebody spray-painted the 455 sticker on the aircleaner black!

    Best, Steve.

    The VIN =

    4 - Buick
    P - Centurion
    67 - Convertible
    T or W - engine option (T = std 455, W = hi po 455)
    2 - 1972 Model Year
    X, Y, C - Assembly Plant
    xxxxxx - production number
