Erik - correct, but there are only 5 digits in the body number in 1971 and 1972. In 73, there were 6 digits.

    B is Black.

Thanks my friends for all these clarification. At least I am now sure the car has not changed its colour since 1971 (Red + black interior).

Smartin, how could you manage to have your site on the top of the list when typing "Buick Centurion" in Google for example ?

Instead, it is always spammed with wholesellers who only have AC condenser and radiator to offer !

A lot of it depends on average site traffic and number of clicks that the site collects on that particular search engine. If you go to www.msn.com and type in "Buick Centurion", I am first in line.

You can improve your standings in line by using "meta tags", which are embedded lines of code at the top of each page that are basically keywords the search engines look at. I did this with my Parts Directory when I started it, and my site traffic jumped big time. I also did this with the Centurion Registry not long after I started it, so all I can do is give it time until it "matures," I suppose.

Or I can sell out, and put google ads on my site...nah...

Mabey I'll register my mom's old Centurion (unfortuenttly wrecked, but we still got the motor, the grill, the spoked hubcaps, and all the emblems) I'm hoping to make a sleeper out of the motor once my parents get another '72 Centurion 4dr.

    Default Cent update

Hey Adam, Fellow members just thought i would chime in. The centurion is back on the road after a 1 year abcense (and $1700) for heart surgery. Unfornately the original block could not be save.(I'll post those pics later ) Instead it has a 75 455 bored .30 over (460.1 cid) with a little warmer Comp cam. But what I wanted to say is that I want to send you pics of the car, build sheet and tell you of some additions and corrections on the option list. Should I email them through the registry site or post them here on the board?

Thanks - it's good to see you back! I had started to wonder where you went. I had been looking for any archived pictures you had, but couldn't find them.
