    I am converting my 1970 skylark to a manual 4 speed. I need pictures showing me where to mount the z bar bracket to the frame and where to drill my block for the engine ball stud. Please help

    I need help. Converting a 70 skylark 350 to 4 speed and need pictures showing where the z bar bracket goes and where to drill for the engine ball stud.

    when you pull the auto out. You can see a casting nub where you need to drill into the block. I had to do the same thing.

    You can see the area to drill into with the trans out of the way. It was really simple.

    Holes are pre drilled in the frame for the z-bar pivot bracket. You just use the self-tapping screws to fasten it in place. It lines right up.

    sparkplug The chevy pedals are different, Chevy used a much different upper rod that turns into the pedal 180 degrees from the Buick method.     Greg, where did you find Dave Kleiner for the four speed parts. I need a new equalizer adjuster .

    Dyno'd at 455hp, 518lbs torque
