You could count the tree rings and see how long it was there.

I don't have pics but I've seed a stalk of corn growing out of the bed of a pick-up. The truck wasn't setting in the field either, it was setting downtown running and driving around.

    Yeah, at LEAST.

Who knows how long it was there "before" the tree seed found it's way under the hood and germinated?!

Snapped this one sunday in a yard growing out of a steel trailer, nothing under it, just growing out of the steel, apparently there was a hole there at one time, thought it was neat so I took a pic.

I know that Greg, Wildcat 1562, has some good ones from when I went yarding with him a couple years ago.

    Default cart

A few years back I was actively going out into the woods and cutting stuff like that cart out of the trees and brush and dragging it back to the farm to line the edge of my field with, wheels, harrows, rakes, etc. This was after the town said no more cars, so I switched to farm implements for a while.

Those are great pics Keith !!

Well, this isn't a junkyard car story, but I thought it would fit.
One summer vacation during my undergrad I went somewhere in my dad's car and came home to this:

One of the branches from a large tree next to the garage fell off and landed in the back seat. It looked like a small tree was growing through the car.
I dug up the old pictures. They are bad - taken with a polaroid and many years old, so the scans didn't come out very well.
Here are links to more pictures:

Well not a tree growing thru a car but one that has ripped the mirror off one and now it's a few feet up the tree.
