Here's the deal, Friday is a track rental, there will be no concessions, so we need to bring goodies to eat for lunch and dinner for anyone staying over to race in the Buick Gamblers Race $10 pay back to be determined based on entries around 7:00 PM during the track's regular test and tune which you have to pay $12 to enter.
I have a hook up for some pull pork bbq from Flint, I can get fairly reasonable, will need a grille to warm up. Anyone that doesn't want to bring a food goodie to share can throw $5 in to cover costs.
Also need help at the track, on Friday, entrance folks to take money, pre-entry cards and put # on cars, folks to run the burn out box/starting line, and folks to run the printer at the starting line and write car #'s on time slips. if everyone would volunteer an hour or so to one of these details would be awesome!
You wanted it we are giving you the chance to test and tune, etc, please plan on helping out,
Any questions, email me!
See you next week!
You can also invite your other race car friends, chevy, mopar, mudstangs to join us on Friday, they just need to pay the $30 at the gate, and help out with track stuff, gate, staging, timeslips, etc would be nice, all hands on deck and bring some stuff to eat!

Mmm if we would run the concessions, perhaps we could make some cash to pay for the trip!

I'm taking orders, anyone need some Dutch cousine, or some sweets and candy or mmm real Dutch Cheese!
Shall I bring a lot of those little wooden shoes with the Buick Trishield Logo on them, and sell them at the stands?

Roberta,

I was wondering if there has been any mention\decision of payout amounts for the different race classes (other than the gamblers race)?

Thanks
Mike

Herb

Rich Brauer won the Q16 over Geoff Ketchum
John Scheckelholf won the V8 race, not sure who he beat.

Those are the only 2 i am sure of, I am sure once Roberta gets home she will post all the results up.

Was a great time. Thanks to Roberta and Bill for a great event again.

That is the correct website for pictures, but he asked that you wait till later this week to look for them as he has college finals to take today and tomorrow, so check it out around Thursday! I saw the pictures he took of Friday night and they are awesome.

As expected another fine event. We had a blast very few issues, new bests, and good friends. what more could you ask for just for the year to go by to do it again.

Thanks to Bill and Roberta for a well organized event.
I won 2nd chance bracket and it was my first win for this car.

Thanks to Bill and Roberta!!! Another great year. Really good to see all of our Buick friends and spend some time with them.
Robin Stevens... sorry I walked right past you. You know it was not intentional. Just zoned out! (as usual). Good to see you and John make it even if was for the day.
Glad we had a fun, safe day.
