Cool

I hear that! Wish I had some that would make it a little nicer than it really is right now. Very slow going project. Might buy David Newtons 72 clone to pacify me till I can get some body work done. On the one I have now, drivetrains gettting verrrrrry close. Maybe this maybe that, gesh soooooo confused

They're all beautiful! The diamonds in the rough have more character than some of the nice cars anyway....

Nah Chris,

It had a white top. It rotted off the car, I mean this vinyl was thinnnnnnnn. I tore it all the way off so moisture wouldnt sit up under it while it was stored outside for a while. Not a real bad car. Ive had it for about 10 years and between relationships, movings, divorces and all of the other fastballs thrown at me, just havent had time or the motivation to do anything with it. Money also of course has played a part.

You going to Temple????

I will be there, hopefully with one or two of my cars. I'm working on getting them trip-worthy right now.

Default here it is...

http://www.junkyardjewels.com/

That should work for ya.

Hey, I know this is a long shot but did or didnt we use to talk via AOL about my car. I believe I might have sent you my scanned cam card and asked about the advance built into the cam verses the way they installed my cam. Oh, I also have the sleeved 455. Just believe your RH455 screen name on here looked familiar. Might be wrong................

Hey Wayne....

I've got the 1:1 scale version of that in my back yard
But mine is "just" a GS455 and not a Stage 1

Cool

Im assuming you are talking about the full size version....

I go back and forth, more of it due to the CONSTANT headaches of dealing with time and money it takes to play, but I dont plan on selling it to answer your question. Its been out in front of the house for about 6 months now, and I cant tell you kow many times Ive been asked to sell. (letters on car, door, or knocks on the door) I got first letter on door within an hour of putting it in the driveway. Thats the good. The bad is out of curioustity Ive asked a few what they are willing to pay, as it would take a more than interesting offer for me to part with it, and I get the 1000-1500 offers
i just say no thanks, that we arent even in the same ballpark, state, world where I would part with it. It would take more than someones willing to pay at this point. Its more of a mission now than a hobby

Wayne,
I know what you mean, but I sorely need a vist from the money fairy and then her partner the time fairy...someday I'll be able to bring the 70 back to it's former glory!
