Frank where did i see your car before? was it for sale in Tukwila before you got it, or are you the one that had it for sale there? I used to live in Puyallup
Lee, It was sold new in Lewiston, Id. then sold to a fella in Spokane, WA. I bought it out of Spokane. It has been on the east side of the state its entire 38 years. Previous owner may have taken over to the west side before he sold it to me.
Dennis, You told me you were buying mine for $27K. I guess you changed your mind? Just trying to shop around a bit first and check the market? Not many BB 4 speed cars made to define a "market".... Gee, now I really don't want to sell mine to you for $27K any more. Good luck in your quest. Maybe you'll find a deal. Regards, Bob
Did'nt know that Frank, I remember a car from Spokane just like your quite a few year's back at a dealer on consignment in Tukwila. It needed paint as it was kind of faded & was exactly like your's. I really like your color!!!!!!
Thanks, Lee. They mixed some gold metallic into the burnished saddle paint. On a sunny day the paint looks unbelievable. The pictures don't do it justice, you should see it in person!
Bob, please do not jump to conclusions on this post. My Father is looking for a GS vert as well as I. He found out I was getting your Vert and he grew a intrest in one as well. I told him I would help find him a good car similar to what I am getting. We both have turbos, we both have GSX's and we both have 68's. Now we both want to get 70-72 converts. Look at my sig and the cars, please dont discount me as a real buyer as many on this board can tell you. I have bought many cars and so has my Father. My Buddy Dirk that called you is going to inspect your car for me. He has called you about this. After that I was getting ready to jump on a plane this in the next week or so. Sorry if I offended you and I can understand your concern after seeing this post. I did not think it would be an issue. I realize you dont know me, but I am a man of my word and when I say something I do it. I know your a board member and read this forum, and see now that I should of informed you of this post and its meaning, my mistake. I have been in contact with your on a regular basis and thought it would not be an issue. I could of explained this on the phone today when I called, I thought something was wrong? I just now seen your post, so it now makes sense to me. I am a buyer for your car period and also in the market for another. Nothing has changed since I told you that you car was what I wanted. My Dad just wants one as well, this post has nothing to do with our deal. Dennis
 I can certainly vouch for the fact that Denny and his dad are buyer's of cars, they have quite a few, and they are nice ones too! It does seem like when one of them buy something, the other one has to try and outdo him and buy one too!
Well, I'm glad we got thiat all sorted out :TU: :beer someone just has to sell me one one day  . You can't corner the market on Buicks , could you......
No worries, the car is for sale. Having said that it is in storage with a non-running car behind it. My C600 truck has developed a problem with the air brakes, and of course won't fit inside to work on (can't tow the non-runner). Based on my schedule I can't pull the GS out, clean and detail it and drive it up to San Francisco for inspection this weekend. I just don't have time. If this situation changes (e.g. hose popped off on the truck, etc.) I will PM the interested parties. My backup plan is to take it to the next car show -- which is Pleasanton GoodGuys in March -- which is actually only about 6 or 8 weeks from now, I think. Dennis -- no apology is neccesary. I did not mean to make you feel badly. Until money changes hands or papers are signed no deal exists. If you (or your dad) can't wait a few weeks and buy something else I completely understand. I actually posted a couple of '70-'72 GS converts on here that I saw for sale.
