Anybody planning to attend? I'm planning to be there, been wanting to go for years, for once I'm in town on the date it's being held. Keith

I will try to get there with old orange, although its filthy and I don't know when I will clean it. This show used to be in july, and the last time I went it was over a hundred degrees by 11 am, good to see they moved it back to earlier summer.
Rick - look me up, I have a 65 GS Convertible, Burgundy with white interior. I'll have a carnation in my lapel:TU: Keith
I will look for you Keith, Shouldn't be too hard to find. The last time I was there they had separate areas for the different GM divisions. Rick
so i noticed on the registration form all cars MUST HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND HAVE FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE--edit-actually property damage would come under liability-and i have full coverage, but I do not remember this from the three times i participated in the past. You guys have any input?
My first time there, but my guess is, if it is like any other show, they're not going to check. Just, if you catch on fire, they can say, "well, you didn't have an extinguisher, and we said you had to have one". I'm mainly going because I'm expecting a bunch of Buicks to be there (from pictures from previous years, there seems to be a lot of them), and I want to check them out. I'm not a formal "show person", I just like to drive my car and talk to people that like the same types of cars as I do. Keith

I'm not a formal "show person" I'm not a formal show person either, im a drag racer at heart, but this has been a prety cool show when I went in the past, and quite a few Buicks came out. the Socal GranSports actually made an effort to cordinate the group area there 2 years. anyway, it looks like I am going to be ther, look for the car in my avatar and thanks for posting this up, or I would have missed it!!!
OK Scott Can I park next to you and your orange special Buick!!:TU: I will see you there at 830am. Do I have to register or can I just hang with my Buick brothers.
Nick-the 4th reply on this thread has the link to the registration page-If you are bringing your Buick (pleeeeeeeze?) you will have to fill it out and bring it out iwth you, thats what I'm doing. see ya sunday, be good to see ya again
Everything I've heard about this show has been good, I'm really looking forward to seeing a bunch of cool Buicks, and meeting some Buick owners. I'm hoping there will be some 65's there, I want to take some pics of engine compartments, that area is pretty weak in my car.
Excellent show today put on by the LA Buick club. At least 30 or 40 Buick's there, including a bunch of nice Skylarks and Rivis, plus quite a few 50's Centuries and Skylarks. Rick, pleasure meeting you. Also met a bunch of other Buick nuts! Can't wait til next year. Anybody in SoCal, this show can't be missed. Keith
hey Nick, if you were there, I missed ya!! Keith, beautiful car, I missed you somehow too but saw your car. spent some time with rick, and basketball sam was there for awhile but without his car, which is spending some time in kentucky due to high fuel/towing costs. this was the most Buicks I have ever seen att his show, although the other Gm brands were off a bit in attendance, especially the bow tie boys. Saw Bill moore and Gordon hansen as well, was a good day for me. guess its good to drag this old wreck out once in awhile, especially since it will run on the cheap stuff, got away with a 20 dollar fuel bill!! now if someone would just wash and wax this old pumpkin it might look ok.
Scott - saw your car there, quite nice! My son (12 yrs old) was fascinated by the scoop. Sorry we missed you, we were cruising around quite a bit looking at all the rest of the cars, plus hanging out with my friend who was parked over in the truck section (he had the beautiful blue and white 56 Cameo pickup). Keith
I only had a couple of hour window to go to the show but didn't want to miss some Buicks for a change. The only person my brother (he has a 68' Skyark rag) and I met was Rick and his absolutely beautiful 69' GS 400.It was good to meet you Rick and see the results of your great work.I did see Keith's car(you must have been wandering),great car and color combo.Somehow(hard to figure) I missed Scott's.Overall a good show from all era's.It was good to see the Buick/Pontiac/Cads and Olds.No offense to those having them but I'm tired of only seeing Chevy's at shows.
I also thought it was a excellent show and I had a great time. I never seen so many Buicks in one place. I like all of the classics but I really enjoyed meeting other Buick owners and seeing all of the effort they put into their cars. Rick
