Released from an original spare tire, painstakingly stored in a large hefty bag (non-#'s matching). Don't be embarassed at car shows knowing you spent $150,000 to restore your car only to fill that $7,000 NOS spare with 2009 Air !! First $11,000 takes it plus shipping
Interested! Could you do any better on the price? I can go $10,500 shipped? I understand if you dont, its a very rare piece. Can I at least come over and sniff it? Do you like Ostrich meat also? You can eat me too if you like
C'mon Dan. You cant expect him to go through the hassle of taking pictures for a measly 11k. Its not like he's asking 25k. Dude, seriously....get real Ken- I dont want to step on any toes, but I do have 71 date coded air. As you know, the 70-72 stuff goes for alot more than that 68-69 stuff. I'll sell it to you for 26k. This is the same air I sold Duane for his Stratomist blue GSX. I cna bring it to the Xmas party if you like.
I hate to admit it, but even from a parts vulture like you, that's a STEAL! I'll take it! Is there enough for four tires and a spare? (plus a little bit for leakage?) Paypal ok? I wonder if there's a way to repro the air?
The price is firm. This is not Let's Make a Deal and I am NOT Monte Hall, but since you responded first you have first rights however you May NOT sample the air prior to a monitary transaction. For all I know about you, you would huff up the complete contents and I'd be left holding your empty bag, which your girlfriend said is a common problem. Please let me know immediately as I have Vince and Billy Mayes answering the phone lines which are ringing off the hook
Sorry Ken, no paypal. For the price im selling it at, its cash and carry on this deal. You want air for all 5 tires?? Dude...the price I quoted you was for one tire. Thats funny! air for all 5 tires for only 26k.
ROTFLMAO...... YOU GUYS ARE TOO MUCH....
Well, I am doing a $250,000 restoration and it sounds like this tire air may not be good enough. Do you have other that are better and are being sold for more? If so I'll take it!
I guess it was just too good to be true. Well, I can't swing it for all five, so maybe I'll just get some for the driver's side front- the one you see the most as you enter/exit the car. Hopefully with 2009 air in the passenger tire I won't have an alignment problem.
Jason do you have any Doc's too prove that it's NOS air .....:idea2: I don't want to get gypped :idea2:
Thats the difference. Alan's air is NOS. Just because its NOS doesnt make it correct! See Duane's article about NOS parts here- http://www.buickperformance.com/NOSParts.htm My air is original, date coded air. Not incorrect NOS air. I would rather have the repro air that The Parts place sells over NOS. Plus TPP only gets 4,500 for thiers. So you have a few choices- Alan's NOS, repro or my correct date coded air. And yes, I have full documentation and a notorized letter from Duane on its authenticity.
Lets get one thing straight here - the NOS air I am offering is Date code correct air painstakingly removed from an original spare tire that had never touched the ground. This is not some squashed up used air !! It is perfectly fresh as the day i left the factory pump. If you want used air, shop elsewhere and stop polluting my thread. If you are selling some other air, START YOUR OWN THREAD !! Read the board rules - no comments unless related to my sale. Joe - I do have the original cap available. My wife needs a kidney - what blood type are you ?
That squashed up line made me spit crap all over my screen. I happen to have a stock of kidneys, from the ex girl friends, out in the shed.:spank: Type O Negative baby!! (Mcdonald Ave baby!):bglasses:
Tell you what, for $100 I'll come over and blow up all 5 tires with my mouth. It isn't date code correct, but I blow real good. I've never heard any complaints from owners after I wrap my lips around their valve stems.
There is repro air available for less money but please note that it does not contain that pungent musy smell associated with NOS air. It also contains far fewer pollutants (thanks to the epa:blast: ) that is so desirable in the NOS air. Repro air has also been comressed 2 times more than NOS, so before you opt out for the cheaper stuff, remember, it's all about true quality.
Jason Cook, I can't believe you are selling my "spare" air. What am I going to do if I get a leak? Boy are you off my Christmas list! Duane
