C'mon Jim. Dont be coy with us. Everyone knows you made a bundle representing the famous "Butt Bandit". I even heard you got a little extra for personally doing the in court re-enactments for the jury. As luck would have it, Alan did drag his bag to the NE Xmas party last night. I was able to verify with my own eyes that he's got the real deal. Lots of bag sniffers, but no takers. I was even unable to take a small whiff.
   Jason......:idea2: are you trying to tell us that the famous Butt Bandit...gave Jim a Reach-Around....uzzled: uzzled: uzzled: uzzled:
I heard that Alan ate some White Castles on his way to the Christmas party. Didn't you think the air in that bag smelled similar to sliders?
This has got to be the most stupid thread I have ran across on this site. It's so dumb that it doesn't begin to be funny.
Do a search for "smart threads" and you can make yourself happier. Only reply to higher level threads about important technical points or race rules, etc in order to not bring yourself down to our stupid level. Just my opinion. Wouldn't want to read all this drivel and end up a Tom Larkin! :Smarty:
So, are you saying that you have read all 128 posts so far? Sometimes silly threads are required reading to help get us through the winter doldrums.:bla:
Outdated lettuce...crayons... is that specific to just the 69 air? The 63 air is quite similar, but I'm not sure.. I got a headache from it (or was it the beer?). :beers2:
This is the stupidest, funniest thread I've ever seen here. I can't type this reply 'cause I'm still laughing. I can just picture Yardley bent over blowing on that valve stem! Somebody post some pics to graphically show a stem job, rim job, etc, I'm sort of confused on the proper technique.:TU: What started this? I did hear the B-J auction commentator say that one the cars still had the original air in the tires! I guess that's worth extra concours points and $$$.
uzzled: WAAAAAHHHHH....:ball: :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball: I don't like too have fun...sniff :ball: :ball: :moonu: :bla: :moonu: :bla: :moonu: :bla: :moonu:
Laughter is very important in life. I think you need to get a sense of humor, or find the one you lost. Just my opinion. If you had read the entire thread, you would have seen that Jim Weise even posted a few times.
Is that American air or Canadian air...It makes a difference to those who are doing a proper restoration....Also i have a few left handed brooms for sale to sweep that side of your garage.........$69.95 plus shipping and i will throw in a free ShamWow.........
StratoBlue, you should have just stopped as soon as it got stupid, which was the initial post (which cracked me up) and went on to something not so stupid. Other than a blow hard or two posting here, I am enjoying this one. Is that a left-handed ShamWoW? If so, count me in. On another note, I have some NOS 64 Flint air, but it is not for sale, too valuable...
Full Size air is way more rare, just not as valuable as the Flint A-body stuff. I have some really nice 67 air still in the spare, never squished, very few shrader valve marks, but I'm keeping that too. :moonu:
I am very surprised that after one week this thread is still listed! I won't argue that it's important to have fun and laugh but there is plenty of other sections on this board to post and run such a thread. As stated in the "Parts for Sale" rules: "The moderators have been instructed to immediately delete any post that even hints of anything other than straightforward buying/selling discussion." I have read through most of 130-something post for this thread and although many are very funny, few, if any, even hint of a "straightforward buying/selling discussion" I am not saying there is anything wrong with it, other than it should not be listed under the Parts for Sale section. Thanks!
This must be the stone sober guy who just walked in to a party thats been in progress for a couple of hours he just don't get it. Come on Dude lighten up. Bob H.
C'mon guys! I mean geeeze. The weather covering MOST of the USA has been a fridgid mess...even we, here in Florida, are experiencing uncommon sub freezing temps... yea, we had 22 degrees just outside of Tampa Bay area this morning....:Brow: what Im saying is...just about everyone on this board is sitting, strapped inside our cozy lil homes... suffering from either economic financial disasters or "Buick anxiety" in one form or another ...sittin round this ole disputer and havin a BLAST with this thread, which I think is absolutely hilarious BTW... and Yea, I agree this may/may NOT be the place for such comedy, but nevertheless...its all in the name of fun and Buicks and comraderie....remember, we still DO have a choice to read, or NOT to read..:bla: ..So, until a better place to post this thread comes up, I SAY, GAME ON!! LAFF MORE OFTEN AND HAVE FUN WITH IT! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
