I suppose that progress of sorts has been made. I am guessing that if you click on the attachment in the post above this one it will show the photo, at least it does on my screen. Is it working for you all? The ten post rule seems to be for links. How to have the photo show up in the thread itself? I would like to learn how to do this without having to e-mail anything. I appreciate the offers to help.
Three more posts! You can find something out of the hundreds of posts per day on here to coment on. Then you can post your pic's.
I did manage to upload that photo to photobucket, after I hit 10 posts I will try to plug it into this thread. Thank you all again for the help.
Ouch, Alan thats a low blow to another 68-69 stepchild. Would a Minivan be something like a 70 Ford Country Squire?:idea2:
I can't stand this any longer.... Maybe you should grab it when people are offering to help you out. Here's a photo of the wagon:
Bad Boattail, thank you very much for handling this item for me. I was getting to it, but some things take time. I still have to figure out the whole posting from a URL thing, but I am researching it.
No worries mate, I was just kidding you....:beers2: Nice wagon :TU: I never saw one in black before, it makes the chrome really stand out :bglasses: About your Photobucket album: If you open the album where the photo of the wagon is in, you see this: Now move your cursor over the thumbnail, and you see this screen popping up: If you move the cursor on the text after IMG Code that starts with and click on it, the text turns blue and a little message saying Copied pops up for a second or two: [IMG]http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w166/V8BuickRides/Various/Beachcruiser3.jpg Now you can paste the link to the photo in your text :TU:
Very nice looking Sportwagon!! I have been thinking about selling mine but that makes me want to keep it and get it done.
To be honest, the cruiser is what a lot of car guys call a "10-footer". When you get up close you can see the paint imperfections, and after over 40 years of hanging out in a coastal environment the chrome and other brightwork bits have a fair amount of corrosion. The interior is really nice with the exception of the dash and it runs pretty well considering it gets driven maybe once a month or so. If it was ever restored it would be a stunner. For now, I will do my part to keep it running and enjoy those sunny day drives.
