I have asked them that question since the turbo timeing covers have cam button bosses on them wouldn't they work on a 350? But they dont have a 350 engine set up yet to even test any type of cam button set up needed. They asked if my machine shop would make something up . My machine shop dosen't want to be responseable for an un tested product so ill have to wait for TA to mock something up. If i knew this wasn't ready to drop in and go i never would have gone this route i would have just bought a flat tappet cam
Maybe Burton Machine would make you a button, I would call Mark. 509-860-3370 Here are some pics of the v6 cover with the button pad. http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/pictureguides/timingcovers/8441cover.html
I am running the VooDoo 67003. It idles at 1,000 in park and 800 in drive. (smoothly), Can idle it to 900 or 950 in park, but I don't want it to labor. Doesn't shake anything around. Has a very nice lope to it and sounds EXTREMELY HEALTHY!!!!! (big block sound). Glad I didn't go smaller. Make sure you have at least 10-1 compression with this cam. Why would you want to have a "muscle car" sound like it's not? It scares people away with the rumble.  :3gears:
You should have heard that TA 510 cam that I had in my car in the beginning. It had 255-265 @ .050 duration and a 576 lift. It sounded like it had a pro stock engine in it. The whole car would shake. It still had that lope at 2500rpm. If I knew then what I know now I would have had a nice loose 3500 stall convertor in or a good tight 4000stall convertor in and at least a 410 gear and maybe 2 more degrees advanced. It would idle at 800 in drive.
I'd like to hear / see a comparison of a Poston GS350-110 cam to a T/A 112-350 cam. I know both are fairly mild. Just wondering if there's that much difference between the two. ...anyone? Bob
Comp 268h! I love this cam Idle is rough and it sounds mean! The cam card says it likes headers and 3.40 to 3.70 gears. I got the headers allready but soon is the 3.73'S! I cant wait. I have my cam 8 degrees advanced but with the stock converter:error: It idles in park at about 827 plus or minus a few.
http://www.youtube.com/user/Flapding All these videos are the 114 cam. Most vids are turbocharged but this one here is NA with the 114: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI3CtXSPq-A&feature=channel_page
