Here is your chance to own one of the VERY few single plane intakes that exist for a 350. This intake fits like stock. Accepts your A/C bracket and heater hose. $250 + shipping. Paypal or check. Please Somebody Buy This Intake!!
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 Ok I want this intake gone! $400! That $50 more than a TA intake, and this intake is MUCH BETTER. I paid $750 and waited months to get it.
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 can u send me pics and the specs?whats the diff between stage 1 and your single plain
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 I can send you pictures tonight. The TA intake is a dual plane. This single plane intake more suited for higher RPM usage or if you want to use nitrous. However, my mild engine responded well on the street with it. I used it for probably 17k miles. Devon, other Buick encyclopedias feel free to chime in, I got work to do outside!:TU:
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 Here's a ton of info on the Burton intake. I believe Cason has an early version? www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=141417&highlight=350+single+plane
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 I am 99% sure that it did fit under the stock hood, since he had it custom made for his car. You are also correct it is the style on intake in your link.
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 yesm it fits under a stock skylark/gs hood with a turbo bonnet cant say if it'll fit with a 1in carb spacer or not
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 It cleared my hood just fine. No need for carburetor spacers, you already have a TON of plenum volume.:Brow:
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 Did I mention this intake accepts Q-Jets AND Holleys?:Brow: Excuse the mess in the background.
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 Will the intake work with a stock(for now) cam & bottom end? Does it have good street manners? Interested but will have to wait till refund comes in. plus the bosses OK Tim
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 I noticed no sacrifices when I used it with a 212 cam and stock heads way back when. It drives around the street great. However, I would recommend installing it when you are putting in a better cam.
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 wow i would love to have that, interested in any trades at all? i dont meant to insult you though hope you have a quick sale that price is a bargain
Re: Single Plane Intake for a 350 It probably wont be of much interest since this is a buick site but i have a 1705227 Chevy quadrajet that ran fine with no leaks when i last used it but probably should be rebuilt. I also have a couple sets of rims: 3 16" Trans am ws6 directionals (possibly 4 if i can find the other) i have a set of 14" Keystone Classics with 4 decent tires, a set of 16" camaro rims with tires and i also have 3 more 15" firebird directionals. i also have a chevy 350 4bolt main (was torn down with unknown miles due to a cracked valve) with a buch of chevy stuff and the rest is just nova stuff i took off my car. i can't imagine how any of this would ship haha but its worth a try
