I've got the ones from poston (I know they are gone now) for a 67 GS in my regal, little diples on each side. fit realy well. not a big hassle.
I bought the tube uppers for my Malibu and El Camino from a dirt/circle track racing supply place for $45 a side, use stock upper (bolt in) ball joints. Front end seems to have more travel and responds better (for drag racing). Not required.
Does anyone know if TA 455 shorty headers will fit in a 82-87 regal without fitment issues? I realize they fit, BUT "out of the box" not with the help of a hammer. Did a search and really did clear answer. Allen
Looks like YOU will find out BEFORE me:TU:; I haven't heard from D&S regarding picking up my motor ... AGAIN.o No: Most everyone I have communicated about regarding the TA Competition Long-style Headers fitting in a G-body Regal with STOCK A-arms, say the difficulty level of installation is @ 3. Additionally, no one has sent/shown a pic of said TA headers installed with stock A-arms. In my heart, I feel it's gonna be CAKE.:TU: Good luck, my friend.:3gears:
... Just found this 455Regal w/headers at the link below (looks like the ones I bought from TA). The owner has his E-mail address posted for info (headers especially).:beers2: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3339981 I pray THIS helps us.:TU:
I have the 2" TA long tube headers in my '86 Regal, with stock A arms. I did not have to bend any tubes.
