I'm selling my setup, new in box due to going a different route.. This is all for a 68-72 A-body HR parts N stuff 1.25 anti roll bar 490 + s/h Currie billet aluminum curretrac lower control arms(sperical end) 370 + s/h Edelbrock aluminum adjustable tubular lower control arms (sperical end) 200 + s/h again, these are all new, boxes were opened only for pictures and prices are 20 less then new price! I'd rather do M/O cant find my mini sd adapter for the comp at the moment but you all know what the parts tend to look like lol
also adding new in box moog 5399 rear coil springs 85 + s/h new pair of edelbrock classic ias rear shocks 130 + s/h
oops, didnt realize I mistyped that! lmao the part number for the hr bar is 1471, works for all 8.5 10 bolts and 12 bolt rears with 3in axle tubes(this excludes any g-body/s10 as theyre 2 5/8) as for the rear moog springs, they'll work for any 68-72 A-body, same spring pressure as our stock springs, except the free floating height is 2 in longer. I beleive summit lists the application for el caminos but they're not a cargo spring...rather linear spring like ours!
do you still have the edelbrock upper CA's?? What is the measurement bolt center to center?? I need 11 1/4" with adjustment available in both directions... Will they work with a 8.5 10bolt?? Id be putting them in a gbody that needs to be able to adjust the pinion angle.
They work on an 8.5.. Can't say they'll work in a G-body though, summit lists the g-body and a-body with different partn numbers...so i'd imagine the a-bdys would be too long. I'll measure though for the hell of it if you like? The way they came assembled the upper arm is 12in long...bolt to bolt is like 6.5 ..still adjustments to make upper arms longer then 12ines
FRom what i'm reading the a-body uppers are 2 inches longer then the g-bodys...but will work, just need adjustment to the shock mount angles
Im guessing that I better pass then...not much more for new and for the right application. Free Bump for you none the less. Good luck with your sale.
If you still have them can you get me the center to center measurement for the Currie lower control arms? I'm wondering if they would fit my '76 Century.
ah, sorry for the REALLY late reply, I kind of gave up as I wasnt getting any bites from here nor pro-touring.com..
bump for hr rear bar eddy tubular uppers currie lowers and umi control arm braces 100 shipped! IF I can sell these by end of winter i'd be happy
Sorry I'm out on the lower arms. Mine are speced out at 22.25" which is just slightly longer than the 64-72 arms.
