Will, Please post the VIN of the car, so we can figure out if it's a Roadmaster Riviera or a Super Riviera. It's hard to tell the difference without the trim, but I think I see traces of the Super script in the area above the rear wheel... (No script in that area on the Roadmaster)
This is THE PLACE to lean the answers to all your questions. Century, also, has four holes. Century is smaller. Super and Roadmaster body have; The vertical "A" pillar. And, the rounded end of the back glass, And, the Park/Turn light incorpated on the head light door. Yes, Super has side script. Only Roadmaster has the huge heavy cast metal chrome plated gravel shield behind the rear wheels. The windshield wiper switch is also a tell. Roadmaster switch has 2 flippers. All other models', Wiper switch has one flipper. The VIN be the determining factor. As well as, the cowl plate, look for; MODEL 56R (Super 2 door hard top [Riviera]) MODEL 76R (Roadmaster 2 door hardtop [Riviera]) Your car looks Great!! I would definitely keep the Red Wheels. No matter what the body color; the wheels were either Black or Red. I like the Red Wheels!
I would try to keep the Dynaflow. I love driving our Dynaflow. It is WAY SMOOTH. And despite popular myth, the 322 4V with Dynaflow has plenty of pick-up. Starting off on a really steep grade; I'll slip it low. Otherwise, I keep it in Drive. Owner's Manual is a must read. If you don't have an Owner's Manual Here's a link ; http://www.55buick.com/OwnersManual/index.htm Congatulations, on your car. I really like it. The body looks, straight and solid.

The model year 1955 Special and Century are B-body cars. This is something I posted many moons ago on this board: 1946 - 1960 1961 - 1965 1966 - 1970 1971 - 1975 1976 - 1980 1981 - 1985
One can even find a Caprice badge in a Mercury, doesn't proof a thing. Or is it that you don't want to post the VIN.... ?
it's raining, she is under a cover and I just down want to get wet :moonu: LOL I will post the vin once the rain lets up
That is MOST interesting. Thanks for posting that. I am surprised to see the Fleetwood 60 listed as "C" rather than, "D".
Looking at the doors, I don't see the attachment holes for the Roadmaster only Buick Crest. So, I am saying Super.
I already figured out that it is a Super: By the way: If you quote, please leave out the images,. Some board members are using a mobile device to browse this board, so showing all six "Body style" images again in a quote isn't very handy :TU:
Thanks, they do make it "pop" more than the hubcaps I have. I can't take any credit for its beauty though, I bought it from Mark (turbov6) just as it sits. In fact, that is even his picture.
It looks really good. We had a set of wires one time. But, I wanted to keep the flipper hubcaps. And, I think, the red wheels looks good.
