I think it is a matter of preference. I do have a '73 automatic floor shifter for sale on the board - not totally sure if it fits the '75 Skylark but if you find it does let me know if you are interested (there is one person in line but I'm waiting to hear back from them).
yea thats what i got. but i saw people had problems with the linkage. what all would i have to do? just take the linkage from the column to the shifter cut a hole. and put the linkage to the shifter?
o. i thought b and m was together. hmmm. i will take pics of the shifter. it doesnt have a boot. lost it in moving.
yea i got the b&m megashifter. it just the shifter and nothing else. lol. lost a few things here and there.
thanks DaWildcat.. looks complicated. i got the indicator cable. people said you might rig it and make the stock linkage work..
You will at least need the actual shift cable or something similar that will work dependably and repeatedly. Don't forget about neutral safety as well. Your car and garage, someones parked car or a pedestrian may benefit from your efforts. In other words, some things really should be done right. Devon
yea indeed. i been reading alot on what i need. thanks for the help though. sucks being broke all the time
Tyler, I sure can sympathize with that. I haven't been working since '08. Can't believe the new year is upon us already. Devon
im just in the situation where i owe 10,000 and no license. i hardly ever drive my car. just mess with thins and that. sand on the door jams. good project.
